On 31 August, a conference on materials analysis and testing hosted by Y-LAB and Weipu Group was successfully held.

The conference focused on analysis and testing technologies on materials, energy, chemical engineering and medicine. It has served a bridge to cooperation and communication between different academia and industry in order to increase analysis and testing technologies.

In the morning session, there are four keynote speakers delivering inspiring speeches. They are Professor Ren Tianbin from Tongji University, Professor Su Quanming from Shenyang Institute of Automation, CAS, Professor Yu Xiqian from Institute of Physics, CAS and Professor Tang Keqi from Ningbo University.

Their topics include science and technology services, nano measurement, new energy analysis and testing technologies as well as ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) technologies.

There are three seminars gathering experts from industry and academia in the afternoon, followed by an expert dialogue between six entrepreneurs and professors on how to make the best equipment to support research and technology development.  

The one-day conference was a combination of online and offline events that brought together 22 talks and attracted 180 participants and over 5000 online attendees.
