专家简介：Itamar Procaccia教授，美国物理学会院士（2002 年）、德国国家自然科学院院士（2002 年）、丹麦皇家科学院院士（2010 年）、欧洲科学院院士（2017 年）、英国物理研究所院士（2004 年）。1979年加入魏茨曼研究所，后担任化学学院院长（1987-1988年和1989-2001年）。现在是Barbara 和 Morris L. Levinson化学物理学的现任教授，也是新成立的布拉金斯基科学与人文界面中心的负责人。他的主要研究兴趣包括非平衡热力学和统计力学、不稳定性、非线性系统、混沌运动、湍流以及摩擦和断裂物理学。 他曾荣获众多奖项和荣誉，包括被授予Fiorino d'Oro（1998年，意大利佛罗伦萨）和波兰科学院颁发的非线性动力学终身成就奖（2002年）、以色列物理学奖（2009年）、首届“Rita Levi-Montalcini Prize”（2016年，意大利）、欧洲物理学会的统计与非线性奖（2017年）、乌兹别克斯坦物理学会的荣誉会员（2021年）、Leo P. Professor Itamar Procaccia is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, Member of the German National Academy of Natural Sciences Leopoldina, Member of the Royal Danish Academy of Science, Member of the Acadmiae Eurpaeae, and Fellow of the Institute of Physics, UK. At the Weizmann Institute, he is the incumbent of the Barbara and Morris L. Levinson Professorial Chair in Chemical Physics and the Head of the new Braginsky Center for the Interface between Science and Humanities. His specific interests include nonequilibrium thermodynamics and statistical mechanics, nonlinear systems, chaotic motions, turbulence, and the physics of friction and fracture. He was awarded many prizes and honors, including the 2009 Israel Prize in Physics, the Statistical and Nonlinear Prize of the European Physical Society in 2017. He serves as an Editor-in-Chief of Physics Reports, and has published over 500 papers with more than 46,000 times citations.

专家简介：Stefano Boccaletti教授，欧洲科学院院士，意大利国家科学院复杂系统研究所常务研究主任，以色列特拉维夫大学名誉教授。于1995年在佛罗伦萨大学获得物理学博士学位，并于2015年在马德里胡安·洛斯国王大学获得荣誉博士学位。他的主要研究兴趣是扩展媒体中的模式形成和竞争，混沌的控制和同步，以及复杂网络的结构和动力学。他从2013年起担任Chaos, Solitons and Fractals (Elsevier) 杂志的主编，自2016年起担任欧洲科学院院士。1995年至1999年，他当选为佛罗伦萨市议会议员。Boccaletti教授在同行评审的国际期刊上发表了402篇论文，被引用超过37300次，h因子是71，i-10指数是235。Boccaletti于2006年在Physics Reports上发表的专著“Complex Networks: Structure and Dynamics”被引用超过12700次，成为该杂志年鉴上引用次数最多的论文。
