The Center for Imaging and Characterization of Advanced Materials houses nearly ten advanced electron microscopy platforms, including the Iliad Ultra and the Spectra 300 with aberration-corrected Lorentz STEM capability. Equipped with next-generation high-sensitivity, high-dynamic-range, and high-speed detectors, the Center delivers high-performance imaging and analysis for a wide range of materials research. Integrating ultra-high-resolution imaging, in-situ characterization, and multimodal correlative analysis, the Center enables precise structural and functional characterization across length scales from individual atoms to functional devices. With world-leading instrumentation, expert technical support, and an open-access operating model, the Center serves the communities of materials science, energy technologies, electronic materials and devices, and advanced manufacturing. By enabling frontier scientific research, breakthroughs in critical technologies, and the cultivation of future innovators, the Center serves as a key research infrastructure for scientific discovery and technological advancement.
