报告摘要:
In this talk, I will outline the material requirements for single-crystal gas turbine blades and the resulting need for tightly controlled solidification microstructures. In directionally solidified alloys, the length scale and regularity of dendritic patterns, strongly influence final properties. I will introduce a supervised machine-learning method, SLPS, which automatically quantifies local solidification characteristics from microstructural images, providing a general image-driven framework for characterising directionally solidified dendrite structures. We found that hexagonal packing solidification structure adapts more readily and achieves finer grain than square packing. These results offer a mechanistic basis for process design that promote hexagonally ordered, close-packed solidification structures with finer grains, reduced microsegregation and defect-grain formation, and shortened solution heat-treatment times.

董洪标教授先后在北京科技大学获得冶金工程学士、硕士学位,于英国牛津大学材料系取得博士学位,随后在牛津大学、帝国理工学院完成博士后研究。长期致力于智能制造,金属材料加工理论及模拟仿真,镍基高温合金,钢铁冶金,铸造,焊接和金属增材制造等领域研究,尤其在燃气涡轮叶片核心技术领域造诣深厚——建立多尺度多物理场凝固模型,首次实现凝固组织微观尺度数字模拟,揭示了单晶叶片表面缺陷和选晶的机制。董院士在推动国际合作方面成效卓著,创建莱斯特 - TWI 材料创新中心,以及中英、英印等跨国科研平台,为全球高端制造的学术交流和人才培养做出了重要贡献。
